| 説明 | Built in 1939, this Streamline Moderne-style building was designed by Lescher and Mahoney for the Phelps Dodge Corporation to serve as a mercantile (department store) for the town of Bisbee. The building is clad in stucco with a vaulted roof, metal-frame ribbon windows, curved corners, a decorative textured facade at the northeast corner of the building, large recessed entrance bays, and large first floor bays. The building is a contributing structure in the Bisbee Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. |
