| 説明 | 4.11.25The University of Oregon Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) hosted the ICE Off Campus rally at Johnson Hall in response to the escalating attacks on free speech and deportations and revocations of student visas for international students, which began on March 8, 2025, when Mahmoud Khalil was kidnapped by ICE agents and taken to a detention facility in Louisiana, where he has remained ever since.Since then, over 600 students have either been detained or had their visas revoked simply for speaking out against the government or for minor criminal violations such as speeding tickets. This includes 4 students at UO.From @uoydsa: 🚨RALLY THIS FRIDAY. 12PM. JOHNSON HALL.🚨 An international UO student was asked to self-deport by April 12.
