| 説明 | The Crusader III, often identified as the Cruiser Mk VI Crusader III, represents a significant evolution in the British Crusader tank series. Developed as an upgrade over the earlier Crusader I and II variants—which had been armed with the Ordnance QF 2-pounder gun—the Crusader III was rearmed with a more powerful Ordnance QF 6-pounder (57 mm) gun. This enhancement was designed to boost its capacity to engage the newer and more heavily armored German tanks encountered in the North African theater of World War II . |
