| 説明 | Elaeagnus angustifolia along the sewer line road towards the south end of the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve, Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana. This sewer line road was recently constructed but introduced plant species abundance and diversity remains low whereas native wetland plant species abundance and diversity are high along this road where the water table is high. This likely reflects the abundance of underground structures (e.g., rhizomes, rootstocks, seeds) from which these native plants promptly rebounded after road construction. Russian olive is uncommon in the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve and is likely restricted to this site along the recently constructed sewer line road. |
