| 説明 | This pub is on the corner of Jennens Road and Woodcock Street, near Aston Science Park. It is the Black Horse.It is now a student pub, for the nearby Aston University. It was a Scream pub.It is the home of Rock and Alternative in Birmingham.I can't find any information about it, but it looks like it dates to the late 19th century.Had my proper camera on me, so tried getting that old Aston Science Park sign again.It used to be owned by Mitchells & Butlers.The Black Horse used to be a Butlers house before the amalgamation with Mitchell's. The pub was rebuilt around c1925, though a back room sports a mirror engraved 1846 supposedly from the original pub. |
