| 説明 | Twelve months ago, my world came crashing down.Hard.After nearly twenty years of service and experience in the disability services sector, including seventeen and a half years in a factory environment, I was laid off in a restructure of the company.Although I did kind of rebound and pick myself up off the floor, my confidence took a major hit.Now, nearly twelve months to the day, I later find out that the factory that I worked for, dedicated my time to improve working conditions and spread the message of Pride & Diversity is closing down after 45 years of service.While this bit of news wasn't surprising to myself, I am spending most of today, preparing for the Mardi Gras parade and planning my outfit, wondering what could have been.... |
