| 説明 | This was the first public railtour to use the newly reopened ‘East West Rail Link’ from Bletchley to Bicester for the first time since the lines original mothballed closure on 31 May 1993.The last public railtours to use the original line were Hertfordshire Railtours, "The Mothball" from London Waterloo to Bedford via Bicester London Road and Claydon LNE Junction hauled by 56046 on 29 May 1993 and then subsequently the Branch Line Society “The Thames & Chiltern Rambler II” on a part of the tour from Wolverton Works to Akeman Street, Kemira Siding (UK Fertilisers) and return to Bedford using a NSE Class 117 DMU (set 117420 (51358+59510+51410) on 31 May 1993. |
