She was very close to my mother, who was an extraordinary woman and who inspired me to keep to the faith during all those difficult years of growing up. And when my mother died, I took on Our Lady as, in a sense, my second mother and I talk to her every day, and I find her wonderfully pure and simple nature to be an inspiration.
