| 説明 | Built in 1926-1928, this Moorish Revival and Indian Revival-style building was designed by Clas, Shepard and Clas for the Tripoli Shriners, a fraternal organization founded in 1885. The building is clad in buff and red brick with terra cotta and mosaic tile trim, a large tile surround at the central bays of the front facade, five polychromatic tile-clad onion domes with finials, keyhole-shaped and arabesque arched windows, a stone front staircase, and minaret-style pinnacles atop the building’s four corner towers. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The building today serves as a special events center. |
