Diameter: 43.2 cm (17 in.)In the center of this plate a majestic coiled dragon is surrounded by clouds, a wave pattern, and five-petaled rosettes around the rim. In front of the dragon's mouth is a flaming pearl, a symbol often associated with dragons from this time. The plate achieves distinctive visual contrasts with green glaze and brown, and its main decorative motifs are raised. |
