| 説明 | Detail 1st wife; Monument to the first two wives of Arthur Viscount Chichester, Earl of Donegal 1675 erected by himself in 1650 when he placed the other Chichester monument in the church. "Here lyes interr'd the body of Dorcas daughter to John Hill of Honnely in the county of Warwick esq and first wife of ye Right Hon Arthur Lord Viscount Chichester, Earl of Donnegal. She left issue one daughter viz. the Lady Mary now living (m John Saintleger of Donorades Ireland) and departed this life August ye X MDCXXX aged XXlllHere lyes interr'd ye body of ye Lady Mary eldest daughter to ye Right Hon John (Digby) Earle of Bristoll, and second wife ot Arthur Earle of Donnegal by whom he had issue 6 sonnes viz. This seemingly arose through the terms of a marriage settlement, in which John Hill insisted the manor should descend to the children, male or female, of his daughter and son-in-law.
