| 説明 | Built in 1958-1960, this Modern International-style building was designed by O'Dell, Hewlett and Luckenbach for the Merrill-Palmer Institute, which focuses on child and family development and research. The building features a second story that cantilevers over the first floor, textured concrete spandrels, green stone panel cladding on the first floor columns, and a one-story wing surrounding a courtyard on the east side of the building. The building today is home to part of the Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute, which is today affiliated with Wayne State University. |
