| 説明 | The Ocean Cay, MSC Marine Reserve, the Bahamas is a private island for the MSC cruise line. Before MSC's involvement with the island it was an industrial junkyard. MSC has done an amazing job with the island by clearing out all the rubbish and planting native plants. They have also started coral restoration efforts. It is truly a pleasure visiting this island during an MSC cruise. Ocean Cay is an island in the Bahamas located in the district of Bimini. It is located 20 miles south of Bimini proper. Ocean Cay is an artificial island which was built by dredging in the late 1960s by Dillingham Construction of Hawaii and was used to mine white oolitic aragonite sand for diverse industrial purposes.MSC Magnifica is seen in the distance. |
