| 説明 | From the November 19, 1974 Wisconsin State Journal:"A new baggage conveyor that will save passengers time and the county about $20,000 a year went into operation at the Dane County Regional Airport last week. According to Robert Skuldt, airport director, the new conveyor is two and a half times larger than the old one, which he said was inadequate, and is fully automatic. The previous baggage handler, in use since the new terminal building opened in late 1966, required an operator, which Skuldt said cost about $20,000 annually in salaries.The new $120,000 system was funded entirely through the sale of surplus federal land the United States government gave the airport, Skuldt said. It took about six weeks to install, and the airport director said it is the latest in baggage handling equipment.When completed, two display cases will sit on top of the conveyor deck, Skuldt said."Photo by J.D.
