| 説明 | Monument to Colonel Edward Hawkins Cheney 1778-1848 by Joseph Gott, this was one of his last monuments.Cheney was in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 where he fought with extraordinary bravery and had 4 horses killed under him. He later lived at Gaddesby Hall,and is buried in the church.The monument was originally in Gaddesby Hall, and moved to the church in 1917. |
