| 説明 | I was sad to leave Sonmarg but the car was pretty cosy in that cold weather. As we head back to Srinagar, after an interesting day in Sonmarg, Kashmir, India, we made several photo stops on the way to take in the fabulous Alpine scenery. But first, as we exit Sonmarg, we are approaching that beautiful girder bridge that marks the entrance to Sonmarg- we need to exit by the same bridge as well. The bridge is built and maintained by the Border Roads Organization (BRO) of the Indian Army. Notes about Sonmarg and the Sind (Sindh) river which flows through it appear elsewhere in this album.
