| 説明 | I’ll apologize in advance if this photo is a little extreme. It wasn’t my original intention – but sometimes things simply end up in a way that was not originally planned.The original idea was to produce a ringlight-like image using some things around the house (in this case, red and white Christmas lights wrapped around my camera). If you look at the hi-res version of the image, you can see them reflecting in my eyes. Since I don’t have a functioning flash or a real ringlight mechanism, this would be my DIY version. I was hoping to get some “soft” light around my face and then maybe work with a B&W image for final re-touch.Instead, I generated some ugly shadows across my face (due to the contrasting red and white bulbs) and had to resort to an extreme view in order for me not to look sick. I also de-saturated my eyes (adding to the weirdness factor) to make them pop.As the weather allows, I’ll try to move outside for future images and stay away from these goofy portraits I’ve taken as of late.jeremyjenum.com/project-365-2011-edition/ |
