| 説明 | Built in 1983-1985, this Modern building was designed by Conklin and Rossant as part of the construction of the Myriad Botanical Gardens, which began construction in 1971. The building consists of a large cylinder that is 224 feet (68 meters) long and 70 feet (21 meters) in diameter, clad in glass, which bridges a sunken lagoon and is surrounded by gardens, walkways, and terraces, with a cylindrical concrete projected bay at the north end of the structure above the north entrance, and a rectilinear addition from the early 21st Century at the south end of the structure, which houses the main entrance and a small gift shop. The building serves as the centerpiece of the Myriad Botanical Gardens, and is one of the most striking buildings in Oklahoma City. |
