| 説明 | Australia has asserted that it "owns" part of Antarctica, an idea rejected by many countries. They call this area the "Australian Antarctic Territory". This 5 cent postage stamp (= Scott Catalogue # L24) was issued on 15 August 1973. It depicts a "Gipsy Moth" being flown in Antarctica in 1931. It was an early airplane made by the de Havilland Aircraft Company. |
