| 説明 | This is one of the best photos of Bella I've taken in years. The sun was behind some trees and the iPhone handled the indirect lighting perfectly.At 13 years old she still chases the ball every day, but sometimes only for a few throws. She also likes to lay on the lawn and just chew on the ball.That's a beef marrow bone at lower right. The back lawn is littered with them, and there are probably a few buried here and there.Update from 26 Feb 2025:Following the aggressive growth of a fatty sarcoma on her abdomen, and what appeared to be several rapid organ failures, Bella was put down peacefully on 26 February 2025 and buried in the backyard not far from where this photo was taken, a month shy of her 14th birthday. She had been with us since she was eight weeks old. |
