| 説明 | Indian ricegrass (here growing behind Liatris punctata, dotted blazingstar) is present on the south facing slope of the road cut on the north side of East Kagy Blvd, southeast Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana. Indian ricegrass may have established at this site during the last 10 years as part of an effort to reestablish plant cover following herbicide treatment and other disturbances that reduced vegetation cover on this road cut. Indian ricegrass is rare if not absent elsewhere in similar upper elevations of Gallatin Valley and becomes more abundant at lower elevations down river and to the east in Montana. |
