説明 | In the upper two images you can see pine pollen which is an artifact in this prostate slide, which has fallen and contaminated the specimen during processing. It is not difficult to distinguish them from other typical structures of the prostate. The corpora amylacea, which are laminated, glycoprotein concretions, which sometimes calcify and can have different shapes besides the most common round and ovoid ones. In this case we see them in a square, triangular and heart-shaped form in the two lower images.Images contributed by Dr. Pascual Meseguer - @HistopatolomonOther corpora amylacea and pine pollen can be seen in this Atlas. |
