| 説明 | Tantallon Castle is a ruined Medieval fortress perched high on a cliff on the Lothian coast south east of Edinburgh and directly opposite the Bass Rock. Bass is a 109m high volcanic plug now home to britain's largest colony of Gannets.The castle was besieged three times, but pretty much destroyed by Cromwell's heavy artillery when occupied by Scots Royalists. |
