| 説明 | Mountain brome growing along the Sypes Canyon trail on the divide between Sypes and Lyman Creeks, southwestern Bridger Range, Gallatin County, Montana. The large laterally compressed spikelets (often about 2 cm long) with awned lemmas that are dark pigmented distally and light pigmented basally are diagnostic of this montane dry meadow bunchgrass. Each bunchgrass is usually few-stemmed and often blends in with the dense vegetation of dry montane meadows. Leaf sheaths can be conspicuously hairy especially in and around the collar region but usually the leaf blades are glabrate if not glabrous. |
