| 説明 | My first major hike in nine months, I was nervous about my fitness. But I guess bicycling six miles a day and walking another two or three has kept me pretty fit indeed, even at nearly 62 years old. I made it to the top of Relay Peak in less than two hours.The problem began just as I was approaching the relay station, when my old bum knee began acting up. I had forgotten fitting the knee brace in the morning, which is a reliable prophylactic for the knee pain. The hike down from the top was eventually rather excruciating, and caused me to move pretty slowly. But there were no other ill effects.Aside from the knee, I felt great, 100%.A GPS track of this hike is available here. |
