| 説明 | I had hoped at the beginning of the month to upload images that I took as a contracted event photographer over our Summer when so-called Australia now celebrates Pride Month in full (we acknowledge the roots of Pride starting in June, but because our weather is a bit sh!te during the month - Winter - we now have our major Festival Jan-Feb). However, my work schedule has been a bit hectic.These were taken throughout the Midsumma Festival - Australia's largest LGBTQIASB+ arts and cultural festival in Naarm (so-called Melbourne), held across the lands of the Kulin Nation.Nocturnal was a night of science, music, performances (and bingo), held at the Melbourne Museum.Animalising was performed by Tony Yap & Jack Riley. This was their dress rehearsal and I was gutted I couldn't get to the actual performance because this piece was transformative.Stitch n Bitch with The Huxleys - a day full of craft as attendees chatted with the outstanding artists and helped sequin memorial panels for the AIDS Memorial quilt The Huxleys have created.Hufflepoof by Dirk Strachan was a lively one person comedic musical lovingly p!ss-taking H@rry P*tter (and THAT woman!).Oh Yuck It's Me by Jessie Ngaio was a heart-wrenching personal performance incorporating clowning, dramedy, and performance art. |
