| 説明 | Aluminum/ Aluminium is used as an adjuvant in vaccinations to improve their effectiveness. Aluminium/Aluminium can sometimes cause a delayed hypersensitivity response (i.e. granulomatous reaction) at the injection sites. Common injection sites are the upper arm and thigh. A good history can helpful in recognizing this lesion. Typical findings seen in these images are plump epithelioid histiocytes not quite forming granulomas and fine fragments of bluish granular material in histocytes.
