| 説明 | When I saw this the other week on a website I'm not going to name because I just know I'll land in the shit. I just had to have it; indeed, when I got it last Monday, I was excited to say the least.When this was taken by Roy Marshall, I was only a few months old...it's of an unidentified Jumbo (a nickname given to the many Leyland PDR 2/1s with dual-door Alexander 79-seat bodies delivered between November 1969 and December 1971 because of their length of 33 feet) getting a jump start off an unidentified older Leyland PDR1/1 with 76-seat MCW body in Derby Square, hence the title.The driver of the newer bus is looking disconsolately at the engine, wondering, "how the fuck did this happen?" Plus, it looks as if he's wearing the new MPTE summer jacket (which I've got and doesn't fucking fit me anymore); either that or it's the old LCPT summer one because I think the new uniform wasn't introduced until near the end of that year.Anyway, neither bus looks as if it's in service because there aren't any fucking passengers! If you look CLOSELY, you can see the indicators of the older bus. |
