This is a working, coal-burning steam locomotive used to head tourist trains at the Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine in Ashland, Pennsylvania, USA. The engine, nicknamed "Henry Clay", is a narrow-gauge 0-4-0T built by Vulcan Iron Works in 1927.Taken during my visit to Ashland, Peninsula of the Henry Clay engine in its former Lehigh Valley Coal Company guise and livery along with sporting its original number. |
