| 説明 | Sensok District of Phnom PenhA quiet Buddhist temple located away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, where I often roam around on the weekends, looking for interesting angles and people to photograph. In the photo above - a recently completed bas relief of Angkor Wat, which adorns the main pagoda, much like a mural. The roof of the pagoda is visible at the top of the photo. The 3D effect is impressive, imho.Although it looks quite deep (thanks to that amazing 3D effect in design) it is actually not more than roughly 5 cm in width at the widest point. 😲 i.e., the optical illusion is crazy good. Note: There are two halves to this bas relief. I photographed the other half (in panorama mode) back in February.
