| 説明 | Built in 1939-1940, this Art Moderne-style building was designed by John Duncan Forsyth to house College High School, which was both a public senior high school and a junior college for the city of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The junior college closed in 1950, and in 1982, College High School merged with Sooner High School to form Bartlesville High School, which led to the expansion of the historic College High School building with several sprawling additions that match the architecture of the original two-story building. The building today remains in use as the single high school of Bartlesville Public Schools, as well as housing the Bruin Academy, an alternative school. |
