| 説明 | c/n A-071 / P-024Built for the US Navy as an A-7A with the Bureau No.153162 and c/n A-071. Known to have served with VA-82 ‘Marauders’, VA-93 ‘Blue Blazers’ and VA-125 ‘Rough Raiders’. Stored with the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposition Center (MASDC) at Davis Monthan, Arizona, from May 1977 until April 1983 when it was sold to Portugal and went to Vought for conversion to an A-7P. With the conversion number P-024, it was delivered to the Portuguese Air Force as 5524, which changed to 15524 in January 1994.Since May 1999 it has been preserved as a gate guard at Monte Real (Base Aérea nº 5) where it is seen during the 2022 base open day.Monte Real Airbase, Leiria, Portugal18th September 2022 |
