| 説明 | Built in 1938 as an Art Deco-style building and heavily renovated and massively expanded in 2014-2018 with a Contemporary wing building designed by Perkins and Will, this building is known as the Gatton Student Center. The present structure is the result of a massive reconstruction and renovation of a building that had been built in stages between 1938 and 1982. The building features a red brick exterior with metal panel and glass accents, curtain walls with metal fins, and on the original building, decorative patterned brickwork, a rusticated brick base, decorative metal balconies, and decorative sconces flanking the main entrance door. The building today is part of an interconnected structure that house student organizations, services, the campus bookstore, the campus health center, food service, and a fitness center. |
