説明 | Built in 1907, this Classical Revival-style building was constructed as a classroom facility for the growing university, and was renamed in honor of David Frances Frazee in 1931. The building was heavily damaged by a fire in 1956, and was subsequently renovated, seeing the addition of two glass-enclosed circulation towers to the exterior as part of a modernization project in 2020-2022 in order to house university programs and offices. The building features a red brick exterior, a hipped roof, a rough-hewn stone base, one-over-one windows, doric pilasters, quoins, stone trim, rusticated cladding and one-story porticoes with doric columns at the front entrance doors, gables at the central bays of each facade, and a cornice with dentils. The building today houses various university offices. |
