| 説明 | Singapore Botanic Garden- pic 27 of 98: I was excited to see Heliconia again- I had seem it last in the Jurong Bird Park (since relocated to Mandai) in Singapore back in 2009. I was impressed at the larger verities of Heleconia. You can see Heliconia very rarely in India- they are restricted to the Yercaud region in southern India. Notes about the Heliconia can be had from the picture of the sign posted at this section which you saw earlier in this album, which is self explanatory. (see previous picture). Spread over 200 acres and stretching about 2.5 km north to south, the Singapore Botanic Garden is one of only three gardens worldwide that is UNESCO World Heritage listed.
