| 説明 | His Majesty King Philippe, King of the Belgians, highlighted Europe’s role as a “geo-ecological actor”, and called for the defence of democracy in the face of autocratic trends.In his address to the European Parliament, King Philippe stressed that in recent years, Europe has been marked by crises, and that in “these times of war, uncertainty and societal unrest, Europe and the world are in dire need of hope”. Although the EU has been united in its support for Ukraine and in its fight against COVID-19, he stressed the need for a less fragmented EU.
