| 説明 | We are lucky to have several Western Grey Squirrels in our woods (they are threatened or endangered in Oregon and Washington, thanks to invasion by the Eastern Grey Squirrel). Usually they hang out in the trees or stop by briefly to check seeds dropped by the birds. However, during an uncommon March snow today, this one spent several hours crouched on the tray feeder, getting more and more covered with snow. I'm sure he's probably fine with that fur coat, but he sure looked unhappy. And the birds had plenty else to eat! |
