| 説明 | We have a photograph of a British military parade in Phoenix Park, I am not sure that this was a common practice? It does seem to have drawn a very large crowd to the proceedings which would suggest a special day or a special event or both. The catalogue states that “a member of the onlooking crowd is waving a harp flag. The Wellington Monument is visible in the background” I can agree with the Wellington monument part, but not the flag waving, surely the flagpole is fixed, and the flag is associated and significant to the passing soldiers?
