| 説明 | Hot Wheels have paid homage to Malaysia, where their toy vehicles are manufactured, by miniaturising Malaysia's own Proton Saga, produced by Malaysian car manufacturer Proton. Protons are not completely unknown to the UK; I have seen a red Proton Savvy supermini a few times around town, and 10% of Saga sales were in the UK. Malaysia, like the UK, drives on the left, because of, well, the British. (Almost everywhere that still drives on the left, from Suriname to Japan, does so because of the British, whether directly or indirectly.) Hence, the car is depicted as right-hand-drive. Found in a local Tesco. |
