| 説明 | Locked and fenced off entrance to the rows of strawberry bushes in the strawberry farm in the Cameron Highlands near Ipoh, Malaysia. I had spotted a sign at the entrance to this farm, advertising a pick your own strawberries facility. Sadly it was too late in the day, and such activities take place much earlier in the day. I was disappointed that I could not wander around the strawberry gardens either as they were all locked tight- as you can see here- due to what I was told was vandalism and indiscriminate plucking by other tourists. Apart from fresh strawberries, some of these farms also sell strawberry food products such as waffles, ice cream, biscuits, jam, drinks, and other similar items. This farm had a food counter too, where I was hoping to catch a spot of lunch, but all that was being sold was shakes, smoothies and stuff like that.
