| 説明 | Along with it's cave temples, colonial architecture and great food, Ipoh (Malaysia) is also famous for it's historic building. In fact I understand there is an entire walking circuit where one can amble around gawking at some of these historic buildings, if you can bear the SE Asia heat ad humidity, that is. So aside from the historic Ipoh train station building we saw earlier in this album, (see previous pictures), this is another one of them- the 1914 built Ipoh town hall. The Malay text on the face of the building translates as the City Council Multipurpose Hall. The barricades due to ongoing repair works around the building meant I could not go any closer.
