| 説明 | Built in 1910, this Romanesque Revival-style building was designed by Ernst Ziller and funded by Eleni Dimitriou to serve as the Holy Church of Saint George, part of the Hatzikonstas Orphanage, which was affiliated with the Greek Orthodox Church. The building features a stone exterior with a domed and gabled roof, roman arched bays, decorative pinnacles, and decorative cresting at the base of the dome. The orphanage no longer stands, but the church remains, surrounded by gardens and more modern buildings. |
