| 説明 | Built in 1925, this French Eclectic-style building was designed by Ronald Greene to serve as an apartment building, and is known as the Longchamps Apartments. The building features a stucco-clad facade with a rough-hewn stone base, a mansard roof covered in slate with shed dormers, a red brick cylindrical tower near the entrance with a conical roof and finial, a rectilinear tower on the front facade with half-timbering, half-timbering on the fourth and fifth floors, a front porte cochere with arched openings and stone piers, six-over-six and four-over-four double-hung windows and casement windows, and red brick trim accents. The building is a contributing structure in the Proximity Park Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. The building today is a residential condominium known as the Longchamps Private Residences. |
