説明Dated to 2017, this Beyond Clothing brand pullover is designed to retain warmth and moisture wick during active use. While its overall cut is simplistic and quite 'neutral standing' in outwardly appearance, looks can be deceiving and what this garment brings to the table is excellent quality fabric that does exactly what it was intended to do in a light and compressible package. We will go over a short description of this garment and the quirks this specific prototype version has compared to the mass production version, and finally top it off with some tidbits about prototype tags on military garments.Depicted in this photo display is the front of the A2 Krios Pullover Prototype in its entirety. Note the trimming and mandarin collar that gives this pullover the appearance of a combat shirt. The mandarin collar allows for increased warmth when fully zipped up while also protecting the neck from the abrasion of a weapon sling should this be worn as a standalone garment. The zipper style is a 1/4 zipper that allows for some upper body temperature regulation. It has a zipper guard for increased comfort. On the left of this zipper is a chest pocket that also uses a zipper for closure. This pocket has mesh lining which provides a secondary method of air circulation and temperature regulation on the pullover. Zippers are a common sight on cold weather equipment precisely for this reason. All zippers on the garment are of the ever-present YKK brand. Interestingly, the chest pocket on mass produced examples of the A2 Krios Pullover has been omitted, and some early model examples exist with a pocket on each side of the chest instead of one on this prototype. Most likely during user evaluation the chest pockets were deemed unnecessary and dropped off the design. As this garment would most likely be a base layer for additional winter clothing, removing the chest pockets makes sense as they would most likely be neglected anyways. The pullover has a drop tail which ensures that the item does not slip when tucked in to retain heat when paired with other winter layers. This tail can be clearly seen on the top photograph.Last thing to note on this display photo is the Beyond Clothing red label prototype tag seen on the neck area. The tag has the usual Beyond Clothing brand thematics with the addition of clearly marking the item as a prototype and as a size large. Above this tag is an ordinary hanging loop with Beyond branding.
