| 説明 | The United States is participating in the December 13-15 Global Refugee Forum (GRF), the largest international gathering on refugees, which is held every four years under UNHCR auspices in Geneva. The U.S. delegation, led by Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya, includes Julieta Valls Noyes, Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration and representatives of the Department of State, United States Agency for International Development, the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Welcome Corps, and the Refugee Investment Network. At the GRF, Under Secretary Zeya and the U.S. delegation will announce 26 unique commitments toward eight multi-stakeholder pledges demonstrating U.S. leadership in meeting the needs of refugees and host communities in this time of historic displacement. She will highlight new and innovative U.S. partnerships with government, nongovernment, financial institutions, civil society, and the private sector to support refugees and address forced displacement. On the opening day, the Under Secretary chaired the U.S.-hosted Strategic Partnerships, Innovation, and Solutions dialogue focused on expanding solutions for refugees and their host communities.
