| 説明 | NEWPORT, R.I. – United States Marine Corps (USMC) Lt. Gen. Brian Cavanaugh, Commanding General, Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic; Commander, Marine Forces Command; and Commander, Marine Forces Northern Command, visits the U.S. Naval War College (NWC) Dec. 8, 2023. During the visit Lt. Gen. Cavanaugh spoke with USMC students and faculty assigned to NWC before meeting with NWC President Rear Adm. Pete Garvin. Lt. Gen. Cavanaugh discussed some of the key challenges facing Marines as part of the Naval and Joint Force in today’s security environment, and how the education they receive at the Naval War College will prepare them to address those challenges. Cavanaugh emphasized the contributions of the Navy-Marine Corps team since the founding of the country over 200 years ago, and reinforced the warfighting capability and flexible options the team provides to the Nation.
