| 説明 | One of the main reasons for coming to Dudley was to see the ruins of the Priory in Priory Park.There was a bit of a light sprinkle of snow in Dudley, so was a bit cold.Priory Park is near The Broadway.This is the Priory Hall within Priory Park.It is Grade II listed.1825. Tudor style. Formerly a seat of the Earls of Dudley. Ashlar; generally2 storeys; fenestration mainly of 2 or 3-light mullions in square hood moulds,with tracery in lower windows. Central block is of 3 storeys, buttressed atsides; pointed arch in square hood mould with quatrefoils in spandrels; nichewith tabernacle work above; 5-light angular bay on right-hand side tiered andbuttressed over 2 storeys; embattlements and corner turrets throughout; clusteredpatterned stacks.Priory Hall, Dudley - Heritage Gateway |
