Available again as Hardtop and Convertible, the Fastback was now called the SportsroofThe 1969 and 1970 Boss 302 were built for Trans Am homologation to race against the likes of the Cuda AAR, TA Challenger and Z28 Camaro. The 69 featured a black hood, reflective 'C' stripe, Magnum 500 wheels, front and rear spoilers. Available in just four colours; Calypso Coral, Alapulco Blue, Bright Yellow and Wimbledon White.Engine; G code 290bhp (conservative) Tunnel Port 302 Windsor Block, with Cleveland heads, also had disc brakes and a larger sway bar. 1628 1969 Boss 302s were made. |
