| 説明 | A tram ride in Malawati village in Kuala Selangor up the hill to Bukit Malawati (Malawati Hill) is part of the Kuala Selangor fireflies tour. The first stop the tram makes up the hill to an area full of rather tame Silvered Leaf monkeys. (Silvery Lutungs)- I've seen plenty of these critters in Sandakan in East Malaysia back in 2013. Apart from spending a few minutes looking at the sea and a couple of cannons at the spot, and checking out a museum at the spot, which was closed, there was really nothing else to do there but wait for the next tram and probably feed the monkeys. Monkey feeding on Malawati Hill seems to be quite a racket if this well stocked roadside stop and the pushy salesman at the site are any indication. (Kuala Selangor, Malaysia, Sept. 2023) |
