| 説明 | Here goes nothing- I start to tackle the 272 steps going up to the Batu Caves near KL, Malaysia. There are 272 concrete steps leading up to the caves- on my last visit here in 2002, the steps here were a drab grey- they have now (since 2018) been done up in attractive rainbow colours, which some travelers consider to be a tourist attraction in itself. Of the various cave temples inside the caves, the largest and best known is the main cave, popularly known as the Temple Cave, so named because it houses several Hindu shrines beneath its high vaulted ceiling.
